Is Errai already business ready?

Hi,

I’m currently evaluating Errai and so far I like the programming model a lot. What I’m not sure about is if Errai is already usable for business projects? Two points that come to my mind in that field which aren’t covered by the documentation are:

1. I18N support for code and templates. There’s one Post (https://community.jboss.org/thread/214124) covering this area with a suggestion, but this is currently not part of Errai, right?
2. Cross browser support. Is there a list of official supported browsers? Many customers required to support IE8 or even IE7. At least I have to know when I can safely use Errai.

I would say so. We have many users currently using Errai for production apps.

Good to hear. I think a nice technical base, good community and active development are all indicators for a good project. But do you have any experiences regarding the two points in my question? Are your production apps localized?

I'm pretty new to errai, but the two issues you raise have not been issues for us.  It has been pretty easy to internationalize our app.  And the cross-browser support seems to be just as good as GWT as a whole--I haven't found any differences.  We've found that some things can't be done in IE8, but that is the limitation of IE, not GWT and certainly not errai.
