HornetMq Exceptions in slaves Machine all servers. when I starts the firewall on Master. WHY ?

Hi dude's,

I have a small problem. Please share U r Inforamtion.

I have two machines (192.168.128.10 and 192.168.128.11).

Both are Linux machines with virtual LAN

I installed JBOSS EAP master (192.168.128.10)

second Box slave(192.168.128.11).

I creare 5 servergroups. both boxes as cluster.

my servers and applications are running fine. but while I am starting firewall on master Machine we got Exceptions in slave box. related to HornetMq Exception.

ERROR [org.hornetq.core.remoting.impl.netty.NettyConnector] (Thread-7 (HornetQ-server-HornetQServerImpl::serverUUID= 1170bbf2-9803-11e1-ab57-c8bcc892ab04-146780063)) Failed to create netty connection: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out

And If I stops the firewall on  Master Machine all are well. with out any Exception any where..

So I needs u r help to resolve this issue .

did you open the ports used by HornetQ in your firewall?

They are listed in the socket-bindings section of the XML configuration.

yes I open each port in Iptable rules. any other chance we getting this type of problem.

If it works when iptables is disabled, I can only assume that additional rules are needed. It might be worth posting your rules. Perhaps start with coarse grained rules and replace them with fine grained rules incrementally.
