mataratones Mar 7, 2013 4:07 PM (in response to mageshbk)This is an interesting feature, but I'm not sure how to capture the information from the TraceFilter programmatically.

3. Re: Number of concurrent messages in ESB
tcunning Mar 14, 2013 1:41 PM (in response to mataratones)If you really want to do this it seems like you to add some sort of message tracking actions that tracks when a message enters your first service and then checks it off once it leaves your last - maybe backed by a db or something like that? Then you could monitor all rows in a PROCESSED state or something like that. That'd be additional overhead though, so I'm not sure how flexible this requirement is.
Maybe you could attach an observer to your ESB-aware queues? Or track the number of rows in the db backing your queues?
I'm not sure this one would be an easy one to fulfill - you might be better off convincing the client that other metrics (like max throughput over a period of time, etc) are more important.

4. Re: Number of concurrent messages in ESB
mataratones Mar 14, 2013 1:52 PM (in response to tcunning)Thanks for the suggestions. I was hoping either there would be something built into the ESB, or I could convince the client that it wasn't important. This helps with the second option.
