jamezp Mar 22, 2013 2:14 PM (in response to jmcollin92)1 of 1 people found this helpfulThe way to do that in JBoss AS 7 is with the logging subsystem. JBoss AS 7 does not use log4j. There could be other ways using other log managers and setuping listeners of some sort, but since you're using slf4j I would suggest just using the logging subsystem.

3. Re: JBossAS7.1.1 and log4j configuration (externalize and automatic reload)
jmcollin92 Mar 22, 2013 4:24 PM (in response to jamezp)The only problem I see is that we do change in a common file to all applications. When having multiple applications, it is safier that each application has its own config file. OK, I understand there is no simple solution, so I will continue with the admin console.

jamezp Mar 22, 2013 4:30 PM (in response to jmcollin92)With EAP 6.1.Alpha you can use logging profiles if you want each application to have it's own log context.
