Hi,

  I am using rich:fileUpload  Richfaces 4.2.2 in my code and have following questions

    1. How to set the max file size? So, that a file bigger than the set size should not allowed to be imported. How can be the message set.

    2. Clear All button is clearing the values from left panel only not the uploaded file.

Pl. answer these questions.

FileUpload requires two context-parameter's to be set in web.xml:

• createTempFiles boolean attribute which defines whether the uploaded files are stored in temporary files or available in the listener directly as byte[] data (false for this example).
• maxRequestSize attribute defines max size in bytes of the uploaded files (1000000 for this example).

Alternate: on FileUploadEvent you can check the size of the file and show an error message if it is bigger than specified.
