Starting deployment of "null"

Is there any problem on this message? Because I am seeing "null" value, I am concerned if this is a problem. Please advise.

That's weird. How are you deploying it and what are you deploying?

Problem is the deployment worked well in 7.1.1.Final, and I am now upgrading it to 7.2.0 version. And I found the application actually works well after it is deployed in 7.2.0 version (EAP 6.1.0). Only see the "null" message while it is deploying.

My demo.ear is under standalone/deployments.

Does 7.2 need any meta file under demo.ear/META-INF. Currently I only put jboss-deployment-structure.xml here. Or is there any other change that needs to be made for 7.2? Everything works normally in 7.1.1.

So you just place the deployment in the standalone/deployments folder and you see that message?

Correct. I did not change anything related to the folder structure before deploying it into 7.2.0.

I just tried again with a new project deployment and found the strange thing is the first two times, there is no such problem (the "null" value is the ear name), and the third time I started my server and found it became to "null" value, and the strangest one is all the previous messages in the log are changed to "null"! Yes, I didnot see wrong. I believe my eyes..

I removed demo.ear.deployed and added demo.ear.dodeploy and deploy it again, then the problem resolved. But when I restart the server, this problem happens again.

Is this a bug or something?

- Go here https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBEAP and login if you aren't already.
- That JIRA is for reporting issues agasint EAP6.1 Alpha
- Click on the Create Issue link on the top right corner of that page
- Select "Bug" in the "Issue type" drop down
- Add a summary of the issue in the "Summary" textbox
- Then in the "Description" textarea add the detailed description.

That should be enough.
