Can agents be imported using the REST interface?

I would like to be able to import newly discovered agents/resources without using the GUI. I saw that with RHQ 4.6 a resource can be created using the REST interface but then a real agent with the same name that is in the discovery queue is not imported and is then obviously rejected when it tries to register because it has the same name. Is it possible to use the REST interface to import agents in the discovery queue or set the server to automatically import newly discovered agents/resources?

Hi,

right now, the REST interface does not deal with the discovery queue. We may add this.

Patches are of course always welcome :-)
