hpeters Apr 27, 2012 1:28 AM (in response to angela.garcia)Whoooaa, Brazilian Portuguese translation team, you rock!!
Let's see if we can't get more languages closer to the mark. ;-)
Angela, do you mind posting the link to the AS7 location on Zanata? ...making it easier for everyone interested to jump straight in!
Cheers,
Hedda

joploya Apr 4, 2013 10:58 AM (in response to angela.garcia)Hello,
I don't know where to post, so can you help me configure a project to translate jbpm 5.4 user guide please?
I create a project but I don't know how to convert repository on GitHub to .pot files.
Regards,
Sandra

hpeters Apr 8, 2013 6:48 PM (in response to joploya)Hi Sandra,
It looks like your source strings are in docbook xml format, so the following guides should work for generating .pot files for Zanata:
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora_Contributor_Documentation/1/html/Users_Guide/
http://rlandmann.fedorapeople.org/pug/sect-Users_Guide-Preparing_a_document_for_translation.html
Once converted to .pot, then you can use zanata client to push the source string into the project you already created on zanata for translation.
https://github.com/zanata/zanata/wiki/Zanata-Maven-Integration, mvn zanata:push
Hope it helps!

joploya Apr 9, 2013 5:51 AM (in response to hpeters)Hello Hedda,
Thank you for your explanations.
Jbpm documentation is created via docBooks. There are no publican.cfg file nor Book_info.xml, and I can't run the command
publican update_pot
.Do you know a way to transform a docBook project into a publican project? There are very similar and I see that publican is based on docBook but I don't find how to build pot files from docBook config.

jito Apr 16, 2013 6:06 PM (in response to joploya)Hello Sandra,
Please refer to the following instruction:
The best thing to do here would be to create a new book using publican
and then include the current Jbpm documentation as chapters or sections
of the new book.
Information on how to create a new book using publican can be found here:
http://jfearn.fedorapeople.org/en-US/Publican/3.0/html/Users_Guide/index.html
They will then have a book they can test with publican to see if it
builds, and refine as necessary. Once it builds correctly they will be
able to use publican to create to pot files.
Hope this helps.
