Can we embed Jboss Portal V2.7 container into Jboss AS 7

Hello Team,

            We are trying to embed/integrate JBOSS Portal container into JBoss AS 7. Is it feasible and if yes please share any articles explaining the same. If not JBOSS Portal will it support any other portal container?

JBoss Portal was retired over three years ago, I would be surprised if it would "just work". Feel free to try and report any errors here. Perhaps not all of them are showstoppers. In theory, anything can be done (if you start patching both the AS and JBP) but for most cases it's not just worth it.

Jboss portal has been renamed to Gatein, see more about it on http://www.jboss.org/gatein

and gatein itself works on AS7.
