    Disk Capacity Issue

    butchseaman

I am having a problem with losing disk capacity and it appears that this is tied to JBoss.

I say this because after restatring JBoss aplication the disk usage percetage drops considerably....

Over a 4-5 day period I will have to restart JBoss to clean up disk space ..     Can someone tell me what maybe causing this to happen ?

I am using RedHat Enterprise and JBoss 5.1GA

      Version:Linux 2.6.18-308.13.1.el5

      Version:5.1.0.GA

      Any help woudl be appreciated

could you check it with linux tools?

          Maybe 'df' 'du' might helpful.

What files / directories are filled with large files?

            +1

If you see this on restart, try looking into temp/work directories how big they are. Simply trace which jboss directory is hogging the disk space.

            E.g.

            [rhusar@x220 jboss-as]$ du -hcs server/default/tmp

            16K          server/default/tmp

            16K          total
