    Using JBoss Fuse for production

    ophers

      Hi,

      I'm a newbie here ... and at lost (I think ).

I was looking for a link that'll allow me to download JBoss Fuse (not "Enterprise") such that I may use it for a production deployment.

But the links I find here require me to agree to use the downloads for development only.

So, would I be correct to understand that, my only course of action to do what I want is to download the source and compile?

      Thanks,

      Opher.

These builds are for development use, and not intended to be used in production unless you have a Red Hat subscription.

          For more details, see

            Thanks for answering.

Perhaps you can help me with this also. I recall that two years ago (I was looking into JBoss SOA suite) I saw a price list for JBoss Middleware products, but can't find it now.

This document from RedHat https://img.en25.com/Web/RedHat/jb-fuse-v-muleesb.pdf lists as a drawback for Mule the unavailability of a public price-list. For all my efforts I was not able to find a price list for JBoss Middleware products on RedHat's site. (The price list for RedHat Enterprise Linux is readily available). The document mentions that "16 cores of Red Hat JBoss Fuse, which includes premium support with management, has an annual list price of $32,400 USD."

I was looking to learn from RedHat's price list of more modest support options ... but, again, can't find the price list.

If it is available could you reply with a link to it?

            Thanks,

            Opher.

I'ts really hard to figure out what the cost of a subscription would be like and how that would fit with JBoss Fuse. The subscription guide for JBoss enterprise middleware doesn't mention JBoss Fuse at all.
