read only entity beans

I am trying to implement read only entity beans by defining <read-only> as true in jbosscmp-jdbc.xml but it seems this tag has no meaning on implementation.The container allows me to update or modify the fields.

It shouldn't. Can you post a bug report at sourceforge with a test case?

I have tests for this and it works for me, so I will need a specific case from you.
