1. Re: How to bind JBoss AS 7 to multiple IP addresses
wdfink May 7, 2013 11:05 AM (in response to aksk1995)I think you need to describe what you want to achieve and what you want to separate by IP addresses

2. Re: How to bind JBoss AS 7 to multiple IP addresses
aksk1995 May 7, 2013 4:10 PM (in response to wdfink)The Linux host has multiple physical NICs (or in case of VMware, multiple virtual NICs). So it has multiple IP addresses and possibly same number of host names.
Is it possible to have JBoss bind to more than one? And I am aware of using '0.0.0.0' which means that JBoss listens on all NICs, but for some technical reasons, it may not be a suitable solution.

wdfink May 8, 2013 5:32 AM (in response to aksk1995)1 of 1 people found this helpfulYou can not bind one service against multiple interfaces, except using 0.0.0.0 for all.
I never tried that, but it might be possible to add an interface and bind one service to A-IP and another to B-IP by changing the interface in the bindings.

aksk1995 May 8, 2013 12:57 PM (in response to wdfink)Thanks. Could you please provide an example how to add an interface and then bind 2 services to 2 interfaces? Or direct me to the proper documentation?
