How to rotate the console.log?

Hi,

I notice that all the log informations are written into the console.log. As the time goes on, this file will become very large. So I wonder if one can rotate this console.log daily?

What version of JBoss AS are you using? By default with JBoss AS 7 there is no console.log. There is a server.log that is setup as a periodic-rotating-file-handler.

Hi,

I use the Jboss EAP 6.0.1. There is the AS 7.1.3.Final-redhat-4 inside.

When I start the Jboss there are several logs such as console.log, boot.log and server.log

Are you running a domain server or a standalone server? Assuming standalone here when the server is up can you execute the following CLI command and show me the results?
/subsystem=logging:read-resource(recursive=true)
