djangofan May 27, 2013 12:21 AM (in response to nickarls)What I mean is that , even though it registers as a service, the service was not startable from the "Windows Services control panel" manually. You can try my script yourself at the link above. I suspect I need to change the script to run the native wrapper with the "-t" arg, but I am too tired to chase it down.
I have given up on the native service method since, because of this problem, I don't consider it to work 100%.
I wrote a service wrapper batch script (for Windows) using YAJSW that works great and so I am using that now instead. Here is the link to my code:

nickarls May 27, 2013 2:23 AM (in response to djangofan)Strange, I've been running a modified service.bat script myself without problems on various Windows-platforms. Well, always nice to have alternatives.
