Can not render up the home page of the web-application

I installed a Jboss on Linux and deploy a web (war). As I try to render up the web-application as follow:

http://170.23.14.76:8080/myWeb

I got error as follow:

 (111) Connection refused

But do the same on Windows and it works fine.

Someone can help?

Hi,

did you start JBoss with the "-b" option (see http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/JBoss42FAQ)?
Is there some firewall blocking your access?

Also, are you running a firewall and is port 8080 open? Or are you running SELinux and could it be blocking the port?
