1. Re: @jboss:sql-type creates SAXParseException
aloubyansky Oct 2, 2002 2:50 PM (in response to markuspr)AFAIK, the max length of VARCHAR for Hypersonic is 256.
Try LONGVARCHAR, but I don't know its limitation. -
2. Re: @jboss:sql-type creates SAXParseException
markuspr Oct 3, 2002 1:29 PM (in response to markuspr)I think that this would be my next problem - if the sql-type would be correct!
I changed the line into @jboss:sql-type LONGVARCHAR(400) but this also doesn't work - same exception than before. There might be another problem... -
3. Re: @jboss:sql-type creates SAXParseException
aloubyansky Oct 3, 2002 1:46 PM (in response to markuspr)I read you first post not carefully. Sorry.
The DTD for cmp-field in jbosscmp-jdbc_3_0.dtd is
<!ELEMENT cmp-field (field-name, read-only?, read-time-out?,
column-name?, not-null?, ((jdbc-type, sql-type) | (property+))? )>
It means sql-type is defined only with jdbc-type.
So, try to add jdbc-type. -
4. Re: @jboss:sql-type creates SAXParseException
markuspr Oct 4, 2002 6:17 AM (in response to markuspr)Thanks, your hint really works :-)
But know I have the same problem than before: LONGVARCHAR doesn't seem to have a max length of 200k or more, and Hypersonic doesn't know BLOBs.
Is it possible to raise up the maximum length of the LONGVARCHAR?
