Never used Eclipse with remote JBoss.

But as you start the default profile, does it still exists ad JBOSS_HOME/server/default and contains the related files?

            I have set the Jboss_Home as "\\172.16.1.31\Jboss"

and then i have tried to start boss from commnad line....

            getting the below response.

I have checked, "\\172.16.1.31\jboss\server\default\conf\jboss-service.xml" file exists.

I'm not aware of any option to set the JBOSS_HOME like this.

I suppose you have a local part of JBoss binaries and call the script here.

BTW, white spaces in the Java (or JBoss) path might have problems.

                HI

You can check if this   file://172.16.1.31/Jboss/server/default/conf/jboss-service.xml exists

                  yes,

                  file://172.16.1.31/Jboss/server/default/conf/jboss-service.xml exits on 172.16.1.31 computer..

infact this jboss server started from 172.16.1.31 (local pc)... but I want to start from my pc (172.16.1.29)..

Check your file permission because  another error:

                    "could not be opened"
