When i access the rest api , it pops up a login window with realm gatein-domain , i have tried several username and password and it is still wrong , can anyone give me a tip how to login it , we config the idm which use ldap to authenticate , so what should i do to access the rest api .

nscavell Jun 19, 2013 10:01 AM (in response to wguo)You need to authenticate as someone in the administrators group. The /rest context just delegates to the JAAS domain which is configured in the rest.war with default being 'gatein-domain'. If you changed that then you need to update that as well.

wguo Jun 19, 2013 11:29 PM (in response to nscavell)The default realm name of rest.war is same as the realm of my portal , and i have set my username to the platform/administrators group with membership type manager , but when i enter the username and password then it still promt the login window , confused . Can anyone have a advice ? Thanks .
