./shutdown.sh -s yourhostname_or_ip:JNP_PortNumber
for example:
./shutdown.sh -s localhost:1099 -

You should not reactivate such old thread.
If you use a different JBoss version please open a new one.
If you use AS4, you should describe how you start the instances. It is indispensable that you have a unique IP or port to start JBoss

Starting the instance --> ./run.sh -c "instance name"
Shutdown Instance -- > ps -aef | grep java | grep "instance name" | awk '{ print $2 }' | xargs kill -15

wdfink Jun 24, 2013 6:40 AM (in response to arunbalajil)If you find the correct unique process Id, all your instances need to have a unique "instance name", the kill with TERM signal should initiate a correct shutdown.
