Envers configuration in map mode

I am using Hibernate with entity mode set to dynamic map. I don't have any classes to annotate. How can Envers be configured in this case?

Unfortunately currently there's no other way to specify audit metadata except for annotations.

Are there any plans to implement a configuration with xml?

What would it need to implement an Envers configuration using xml? What classes would have to be changed? I think it starts with AnnotationsMetadataReader.

If we develop a solution, is it possible to contribute it?

Does envers already work with the new Metamodel? I checked out the trunk and can't get it to work when condiguring the SessionFactpry using MetadataSources.

To answer my questions: Envers has not been integrated with the new metamodel, see https://hibernate.atlassian.net/browse/HHH-7490

I think it makes no sense to work on an xml configuration without the new metamodel approach?
