Logging Request / Responses using a JDBC appender - JBoss AS7

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to configure AS7 to log every request / response (header, body) and then, save these entries to a database using a JDBC appender. One approach would be using Log4j and its JDBC appender but I would like to know if there is another one.

Can someone give me some help?

It would probaly be easier to do this in a servlet filter with either pure JDBC or a simple JPA persistence unit.
