PicketLink quickstart where to start with SAML ???

Hi,

I just deployed piketlink 2.7 final quickstarts wars in eap 6.1 (can't  deploy it  to JBoss 7.1.1) .

How to check the saml example ?

Wich url to go , and what is the url chain ?

It is /employee ?

Is anythere a step by step descriptions about how to check if quickstart work ?

Hello Niko,

• EAP 6.1 uses PicketLink 2.1.6, so you should use picketlink-quickstarts-2.1.6.Final-webapps-jboss-as7.zip
• don't forget to create security domains for the quickstarts
• deploy employee.war, sales-post.war and idp.war from the downloaded zip
• then the workflow is up to you. Try for instance:
  1. http://localhost:8080/employee/ which will redirect you to idp application and after login back to employee
  2. http://localhost:8080/sales-post/ - should provide automagical roundtrip through idp and back to app with SAML assertion
• if the saml-post application doesn't require a new login, then the quickstarts work
