How can I get the cluster node shutdown message?

I have a cluster with  JBoss AS 7.1 using standalone mode. when a node shutdown, I want one of other nodes to do something like send syslog... how can I catch it? Someone can help me? thinks

One could also wrap or append to the shell script to detect the Java process termination and act upon it.

Needless to say, you could also solve it the EE way by a servlet listener for instance (contextDestroyed() will be call as the server is shutting down and undeploying current deployments).
