Domain crashes when second server group started

I am trying to use domain node to run two instances of an application that have slightly different configuration, primarily they use a different database connection.

I defined them as two different server groups using two different profiles, these profiles were seeded with the default profile in the domain.xml.

They do use the same socket-binding with a different offset for each.

As soon as the second instance complete its startup, both instances are unreachable as well as Console app running on port 9990. I'm not even sure where to begin looking to see what i have done wrong. I'm really new to JBoss7 and any pointers are appreciated.

I mispoke, the domain doesn't start falling down until i have been logged into one of the instances and then logged out. Is there any kind of clustering happening by default? The little bit reading I have done so far seemed to indicate I would need to use one of the ha socket definitons and define my as distributable in the web.xml

Are there any error messages, exceptions in the logs? Also are you using the CLI to connection or do you mean that it starts failing after you log into your application?

Nothing is making it into the logs. At this point I have tracked the problem down to the sessionDestroyed event in one of our Listeners. It's trying to remove some session based information in a 3rd party control we use called TreeGrid. My current theory is the 3rd party library is inducing an infinite loop of some kind. I'm really not sure, but i do not think this is a Jboss setup issue any longer.

Ok, well maybe you also want to try this with the latest Wildfly release which is the successor of AS7: http://www.wildfly.org/download/

We do intend to go with Wildfly at some point. In fact, we're developing against an Alpha build of wildfly now. Thank you for your replies.
