How to clear rich:autocomplete and close suggestion list?

<rich:autocomplete mode="client" minChars="0" autocompleteList="#{platformSuggestionList.list}" />

I enter a character and the suggestion list opens.  I can then delete all the characters in the field, but the suggestion list re-opens and does not close.  I move my mouse and focus elsewhere on the page and the suggestion list just hangs there open.  I can see no way to clear the field with no suggestion list opening other than to the reload the page.

What version of RF 4.?.?. 

I had the same issue and it went away when I upgraded to RF 4.3.2.Final.

Now I just press the escape key the the suggestion box closes. It working fine now with IE 10, FF 22.0, and Crome 28.0.1500.72.

I upgraded to 4.3.2 and this now works. When I click elsewhere, the drop-down disappears.
