No sources were given for the model abc

Hi ,

Using Teiid 7.7.5 + Teiid Designer 7.8 + Eclipse Indigo , I tried creating a VDB to make a updateable WAR.

VDB and WAR was deployed successfully. But the source model is empty when viewed on Admin console.

Also while executing the VDB from the Editor. The below error is displayed,

      No sources were given for the model abc

Arun,

When deploy a VDB, you also MUST deploy corresponding data source configurations to be used by that VDB. For example, you are building VDB using a Oracle and File together, then after building the VDB, you deploy the VDB, along with connections for Oracle and File. With out these, the VDB will deploy fine, but when you access it it has no data sources available to query and gather data from. So, create the necessary data sources that are used in your VDB.
