1. Re: EAP 6 subscription expires after one year ?
wdfink Aug 1, 2013 4:55 AM (in response to markboletti)Hello Mark,
I'm not sure what you see.
If you download the EAP6.1.0.Final bits you are free to use it for development. The bits are always the same, the licence part is only the contract part.
You need to buy a subscription (and pay for it) if you use the bits in production. If you use it for development it will be a 0$ subscription, maybe the notification is to inform Red Hat that you still use this.
does that make sense to you?

markboletti Aug 7, 2013 5:10 AM (in response to wdfink)Hi Wolf,
thanks for your kind reply. What I was meaning is that if the EAP 6.1 is a "trial", which will lock up after the yearly subscription ends ? For example if you download the IBM WAS trial after 30 days or so it will lock up. As it's mentioned on my profile that "in xxx days your EAP subscription ends", I was just wondering if this is the case too.
Best regards
Mark

jdoyle Aug 13, 2013 3:16 PM (in response to markboletti)There is no time-bomb that will make it stop working. All of these limitations refer to the terms of use.
