Infinispan and Quartz

I am considering using Infinispan as a in-memory backstore for Quartz Scheduler Jobs (running in a JBoss 7.1 cluster).

Is any one aware of this being worked on (as it seems a natural use case - for distributing the Job load across the cluster nodes) anywhere ?

Am I trying to do something that is completely stupid - and why !

That sounds like a good idea. You should document it or blog about it when you're done, and if you can compare it with other solutions such as http://quartz-scheduler.org/documentation/quartz-2.x/configuration/ConfigJDBCJobStoreClustering, even better
