Hi all,

I am using linux machine and java version installed is 1.4.2

I am new to Jboss and installed Jboss-4.2.3.GA binary form.

When started with ./run.sh in linux ,i am facing the following error:

Error[MainDeployer]:could not create deployment: file:/home/jboss-4.2.3.GA/server/minimal/config/jboss-service.xml

Request anyone to help me out.

We need more information than that. Please attach the entire console output.

Also, have you tried JDK 1.5 instead? I don't recall if JBoss AS 4.2.3 works with JDK 1.4.2.
