Load Balancing Seam Application

Hello All,

I am in the process of load balancing two seam applications running on separate servers , I am using Apache Load Balancer, I am having a problem, because each request that the balancer receives goes to separate servers, I have followed the instructions from Apache on how to use JSESSIONID to make the Load balancer Session aware, Does any one here have experience using Apache Load Balancer to load Balance Seam Application

Hi, your question needs more details. Anyway you don't need any special customization in Seam web application, look at AS 5 guidance is in Chapter 8. HTTP Services

Hi Jubril,

Your application must be enabled for clustering to be able to run it over different platforms.

The documentation provides the guideline to prepare your application (see chapter 35).

An Apache  cluster configuration is not really different from a basic configuration as long as you take in account the sticky session config parameter and accesibility of the different servers over the network (firewall!)
