RichFaces 4.3.4 development started

I've setup the rapid board for RichFaces 4.3.4, and defined some sprints:

Some untracked issues:

1. Do we need to update JSF API/IMPL?  We need to check what the current/upcoming EAP release is using, and target that.
2. Should we update jQuery and jQuery UI libraries?

If someone wants to look up the current used/available version of the above libraries and create the corresponding jiras, that would be great, otherwise I wil get to it shortly.

Mojarra:

Looks like we don't have to use any newer JSF versions to meet EAP compatibility.  (Note: this doesn't preclude tomcat users from bundling newer versions of mojarra)

jQuery:

In richFaces 4.3.x we are currently using jQuery 1.8.3.  The latest jQuery release is jQuery 1.10.2.  Upgrading to 1.10.2 would require us to use the "jQuery Migrate" plugin:

It's not clear to me if this jQuery upgrade and introduction of the migration plugin should be tried in the stable 4.3.x branch, or if we should look at it for the upcoming RF 4.5 release.

Thoughts?

It make sense to address it in RF 4.5 scope, considering 4.3.x is the stable branch.

ppitonak there are still some issues remaining in the 4.3.4 RFPL version:
