1. Re: REST API and authentication in jBPM 6.0
jojones54 Sep 16, 2013 3:32 PM (in response to jojones54)More information and another related question.
I have compared the web.xml files between jbpm 5.4 and jbpm 6.0
Specifically comparing the <security-constraint> sections
Is it possible there are missing statements in jbpm 6.0 REST/<security-constraint>section?
jbpm 5.4 has one <url-pattern> for each REST API category
<url-pattern>/rs/process/*</url-pattern>
<url-pattern>/rs/task/*</url-pattern>
<url-pattern>/rs/form/*</url-pattern>
<url-pattern>/rs/tasks/*</url-pattern>
<url-pattern>/rs/identity/user/*</url-pattern>
<url-pattern>/rs/identity/secure/*</url-pattern>
<url-pattern>/rs/history/*</url-pattern>
jbpm 6.0 only has one <url-pattern> statement
<url-pattern>/org.kie.workbench.KIEWebapp/*</url-pattern>Are there missing statements in the jbpm 6.0 <security-constraint> section such as the following
<url-pattern>/rest/runtime/*</url-pattern>
<url-pattern>/rest/task/*</url-pattern>
Thanks,
Jamie

2. Re: REST API and authentication in jBPM 6.0
jojones54 Sep 18, 2013 9:22 AM (in response to jojones54)My team was able to resolve this issue after we found the following sample code:
This code showed us the following classes that are used in conjunction with org.apache.http.implclient.DefaultHttpClient
- org.jboss.resteasy.client.ClientRequestFactory
- org.kie.services.client.api.RemoteRestSessionFactory
We also found the following inforomation helpful, https://github.com/mrietveld/droolsjbpm-integration/wiki/Rest-API
