My jboss server is residing on a cloud platform (virtual environment), which has a private and a public IP. If I start the server giving my private IP in hostname, it starts properly.
If I start my server using the public IP then it throws error for port 8083 in use. Would you have any idea why this is happening?
My env is RHEL 6. I did a netstat to check application running on port 8083 and when the server is stopped the port is free.
Any pointers will be useful.
