Strange ClassNotFoundException Errors At Compile Time ?

I've spent the past 30+ hours fighting one form of ClassNotFoundException or the other. They are raised for my own classes in the shared package even though the classes are right there inside the package. Eclipse does not show any error-markers whatsoever, so I am amiss as to what is actually going on.

Some of the "victim" classes are simple @Portable Pojos, others are Hibernate annotated entities, all in the shared folder.

After some changes (got help from porcelli), the project now compiles but does not deploy to my local AS7. My project is organised like this http://pasteboard.co/bTAYnhR.png and my pom has this under the jboss7 profile:  <packagingExcludes>**/javax/**/*.*,**/client/office/**/*.class</packagingExcludes> instead of the original <packagingExcludes>**/javax/**/*.*,**/client/local/**/*.class</packagingExcludes>

At deployment time, I still get ClassNotFoundException errors for my UI classes: http://ur1.ca/ft3a1 what am I missing ?

Tkanks to porcelli in #errai IRC, we used <packagingExcludes>**/javax/**/*.*,**/client/**/*.class</packagingExcludes> (removed local) and the errors went away.
