marcusdidiusfalco Aug 8, 2013 8:04 AM (in response to marcusdidiusfalco)After switching from JRE to JDK it works.

maxandersen Aug 12, 2013 5:00 AM (in response to marcusdidiusfalco)Which OS are you running ? sounds like a known bug in windows javavms (concerning memory allocation).
About project is not redeployed after changes ? Which changes did you do ? Normally the tools are default configured to update the deployment for any changes, but not all content is picked up by the server.
i.e. if html, css, javascript then the changes gets picked up by the server immediatly, but if changes to a .class file then the module needs to get restarted in the default configuration. You can do that by right clicking the module and clicking restart.

marcusdidiusfalco Aug 12, 2013 6:26 AM (in response to maxandersen)OS is Windows 8 64 bit
When I make changes in java classes and perform "Run on Server" on a jsf the changes are not reflected. When I make changes on the the jsf, the project is redeployed with "Run on Server"

maxandersen Aug 16, 2013 5:16 AM (in response to marcusdidiusfalco)Hans, when you say "make changes on the jsf, the project is redeployed with 'Run on Server'" do you *really* mean it gets redeployed (i.e. all content is copied over and the app is restarted) OR do you just mean you can see the changes ?
Point is that .class files are not automatically picked up - here you need to right click the module and restart it or use a Full publish.
When you change dynamic resources like html, css, js, xhtml the changes are picked up thus you do not need to restart nor do a full publish.
Hope that makes it clearer ?

maxandersen Oct 3, 2013 8:11 AM (in response to leon.suarez)If you double click the server there is a "open launch configuration" under which there is a tab where you can choose which Java is used to launch the server with.
btw. which java vm are you using ?
