Configure MDB to wait until the application is completely deployed

Hi all,

Is it possible to set a Message Driven Bean wait until an EAR is deployed completely? I mean, do not begin to consume messages until the EAR is fully deployed.

I'm using JBoss AS 5.1 and HornetQ 2.2.14 as my JMS provider.

A simple way is to deploy the MDB in its own ear and add it to the deploy.last directory

In that case it will be deployed after all the others.

I did manage to do this.

I added a dependency to my MDB configuration.

In my case, I just needed to wait for my WAR were fully deployed, so I have added the following configuration to the jboss.xml file:

<message-driven>

            <ejb-name>queue/MyQueue</ejb-name>

            <destination-jndi-name>/queue/MyQueue</destination-jndi-name>

            <depends>jboss.web.deployment:war=/my_war_app_name</depends>

</message-driven>

jboss.xml file doesn't have defined such section
