Datasource Active Count Using Postgresql As J-boss 7.1.1 Module?

After installing Postgresql as a Jb module I noticed it connects but does not list the "ActiveCount" or "MaxUsedCount" in the CLI as mentioned here: http://mastertheboss.com/jboss-performance/jboss-as-7-performance-tuning/page-2 . I do see the non-stat properties of the connection such as "use-ccm".

Any ideas?

EDIT: Web console does show the active count; though, at times I question it's accuracy.

Try with WildFly 8.0.0.Beta1

Even if Wildfly 8 works, moving to a new major version is out of the question. Moving to a 'beta' for a production environment is also out of the question. I suppose doing so may have some merit if it reveals how I could back-port a working solution into J-boss 7.

Tried EAP 6.1.1 yet it also does not provide the metrics. Attempts to enable the metrics from the web console also fail. I suppose I could look into the Mysql module looking for any magic that may be absent from the Postgresql module.
