1. Re: Using Arquillian to perform functional tests with ant
c_fil Oct 16, 2013 12:41 PM (in response to c_fil)Ok, forget the @Deployment method thing, I already understand the basis.
About the error, I've read that I need a JBoss instance running in my local machine, and configure JBOSS_HOME inside a arquillian.xml... but, I don´t have this arquillian XML. Is it really this? Or it has to do with some jar missing?

I'm not aware of any examples Arquillian with Ant. What I would suggest would be to get a project that does functional testing with Maven - for instance this one https://github.com/kpiwko/arquillian-safari/tree/master/arquillian-browsers-scenario - put it into JBDS and then right click on Java Resources/Maven Dependencies/Materialize Library.
This will create a lib directory with all jars you need and you can then use them from Ant.
BTW, as for the deployments etc., there are guides at arquillian.org page that would help you.

c_fil Oct 22, 2013 10:15 AM (in response to kpiwko)Hi Karel!
I've choose to use maven to run my tests. The problem now is that I keep getting the same error. I'm Using Jboss 4.2.3GA, and I want to deploy on a remote container, but even if I delete or change the file arquillian.xml to incorrect params the error its always the same, so i guess it's something wrong with its path, I already follow several guides and the error is always the same.

kpiwko Oct 23, 2013 3:10 AM (in response to c_fil)I guess that you are missing container dependencies in your pom file, so Arquillian is missing classes. You should put a dependency according to Container adapters - Arquillian - Project Documentation Editor into your pom.xml file - into AS4 related profile. If you need any more hints, can you please paste your pom.xml and full stracktrace here?
To be honest, I never tried using Arquillian with AS4 container, so I would recommend you to use something more recent (AS7) if possible.
