Infinispan in AWS (jgroups S3_PING or AWS_PING with UDP as transport)

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to use UDP as transport with S3_PING as discovery protocol?

Most of the examples that I see are referring to TCP as transport when using S3_PING.

Yes, nothing prevents it as far as I know.

Yes, this should work, but you need to disable IP multicasting: set UDP.ip_mcast=false. I haven't tried it out myself though...
