1. Re: Is it possible to monitor Persistance Unit of My application which was deployed in Jboss EAP6 ?
tsegismont Oct 17, 2013 4:17 AM (in response to arun2arunraj)Hi Arun,
1) The AS7 plugin provides such a feature. Have a look at the plugin descriptor:
There's a service type called JPA Runtime.
2) I think you made confusion between "JPA (Managed Server)" service type and "JPA Runtime" service type.
A "JPA Runtime" resource runs inside a "Deployment" resource.
3) Yes. Application deployed to a domain should result in a "Deployment" resource under every "Managed Server" resource.
Cheers,
Thomas

Day by day I am learning and enjoying with RHQ. What an effort by your team !. Thank you so much for that.
Please help me to discover the resources which belongs to the following serviceType.
1 - Transactions Subsystem (Managed)
2 - Web Runtime
3 - Datasources Runtime
4 - JMS Queue Runtime
5 - EJB3 Runtime
6 - Webservices Runtime
7 - JPA Runtime
8 - JCA
These ResoureType is not being discovered by Manual mode as well as auto discovery mode. Please help me to utilize the RHQ properly by providing JBossEAP complete configuration documentation.
Regards,
ArunRaj.

genman Oct 22, 2013 2:30 PM (in response to arun2arunraj)The RHQ 4.9 release seems to have a working plugin for EAP. At least when I looked, a lot of that stuff is available when monitoring the RHQ Server itself, which is JBoss EAP 6.

Sorry for the late reply, you found a bug actually:
Bug 1022409 - AS7 plugin: "Hibernate Persistence Unit" service does not show up
I'm working on it and it will be fixed in RHQ 4.10
Nice catch!
