1. Re: Infispan.war missing in 5.3.0.Final version
nadirx Oct 28, 2013 5:07 AM (in response to remo408)Infinispan Server is based on AS 7.2.0.Final. It is a self-contained standalone server which provides support for all of the protocols that Infinispan supports (HotRod, REST, Memcached and WebSocket) and, in compatibility mode, even allows accessing the same caches over different protocols.
We offer a productized version of Infinispan Server, known as JBoss Data Grid Server.
If you want to deploy the Infinispan REST WAR file by yourself you can fetch it from the Maven repo at Index of /nexus/content/groups/public-jboss/org/infinispan/infinispan-server-rest/
If you want to customize the behaviour of the REST server I suggest you make your project depend on the infinispan-server-rest "classes" artifact and provide your own web.xml and startup listener: https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/groups/public-jboss/org/infinispan/infinispan-server-rest/5.3.0.Final/infinis…

remo408 Oct 29, 2013 12:57 PM (in response to remo408)Hi Tristan,
Thanks for the detailed explanation, so i started to exploring infinispan Server and in some of the posts they mentioned that it is not a good idea to configure cassandra cache store to Infinispan server 6.0.0.CR1? is there a reason why and was it ever addressed in the latest releases? https://community.jboss.org/thread/195716
