Rich Faces File Upload -- IO Error parsing multipart request

Hi,

I have been getting the below application when RichFaces (3.3.3.Final) Fileupload is being used.

[javax.enterprise.resource.webcontainer.jsf.lifecycle] JSF1053: (Listener: org.richfaces.component.FileUploadPhaselistener.beforePhase(), Phase ID: RESTORE_VIEW 1,  View ID: ) Exception thrown during phase-listener execution: org.ajax4jsf.exception.FileUploadException: IO Error parsing multipart request

org.richfaces.component.FileUploadPhaselistener.beforePhase(FileUploadPhaselistener.java:63)

Please provide suggestions on the possible causes for this issue.

Hi,

The reason for the above exception was due to a network issue which prevented upload of files to the temporary directory. Once the issue was resolved, the expections stopped showing up in the logs and the File Upload worked as expected.

I'm running into a similar issue. Could you please elaborate what sort of Network related issues you had?
