JBoss Fuse Red hat ESB 6.0 (XML security component)

Hello Clause ,

While deploying xml security apache camel application into JBOSS RED HAT Fuse 6.0.0 , I figured out that the xml security component isn't available in the camel version inside the ESB .

I believe it is available inside the apache camel version 12.2.1 but the camel version inside the ESB is 2.10.0.redhat-60024

How we can resolve this ?

Please help in the above , Should I redeploy all artifacts inside the ESB.

JBoss Fuse 6.0 is using Camel 2.10.

JBoss Fuse 6.1 is using Camel 2.12, and this release is currently scheduled at end of this year. Next week an alpha release is being published on Red Hat JBoss Fuse

So the answer is that the next release is supporting and using Camel 2.12.

The XML Security is also available as a data format, which is included in JBoss Fuse 6.0

It's just that from Camel 2.12 onwards its also offered as a regular Camel component. But the data format can do some of the same functionality as the component. So take a look at the data format, which you can use in your JBoss Fuse 6.0 product.

Dear Claus,

You know I tried to deploy all Apache camel 2.12.1 but unfortunelty I went into endless loop , as camel-cxf 2.12.1 and camel-cxf-transports has issues with Apache Aries deployed and failed to start on JBOSS ESB FUSE version 6.0 , I kept redploying and deploying until I reach closed path.

Well MTC touch (telecom operator in lebanon needs to be integrated with NSN Seimens NTHLR , well I did most of the Job using Apache camel 2.12.1 and xml security) , and if it is a matter of two months so the project can wait otherwise I should use Dataformat.

I will try to fix all dependency issues in ESB ver 6.0 , by the way how you move to version 6.1 with apache camel 2.12.0 , what is the development process or mechanism, how the leads manage each upgrade , is it studying for each dependency u deployed on ESB or trials and error as I do , development life cycle ?

Dear Claus,

I have successfully upgraded JBOSS FUSE ESB 6.0.0 Red hat to work with apache came 2.12.1 and CXF version 2.7.3 , and deployed modified version of camel-xmlsecurity.
