minimising ports

HI,

I would like to use only 80 or 443 port for all the traffic to JBoss. That means i dont want to open the ports 4444, 1099, 2744 which are used by Jboss when it runs behind a firewall....one solution is provided by JProxy ..i dont know how far is worth..but i want to develop it my own...i mean with my own http tunneling. Can any one help me how to do this and any helpfull links...i am using Jboss2.2.2.

HTTP Invokers... but they're in JBoss 3.2, not 2.2

Thanks a lot ... I already noted that and now we are shifting to the 3.2.1 directly....but it a lot of change ...i find entirely everything new here...couuld u pass me some tips setting up the login modules in the new jboss-3.2.1...

login-config.xml for server side JAAS configuration, its under server/<configuration-name>/config directory.

Hi thanks for that,

But I dont want to use this security module....i turned it off for the ejb and web invocations....by deactivatin the security mbeans and commenting all the security domain tags.....

But still after configuring i cant access the http invoker through my client

as follows

Properties tProperties = new Properties();
tProperties.setProperty("java.naming.factory.initial", "org.jboss.naming.HttpNamingContextFactory");
tProperties.setProperty("java.naming.provider.url", "http://entwicklung2:8080/invoker/JNDIFactory");

do you get anything on the server log? client lookup looks more or less correct to me
