Difference between Jboss eap 6.0.0 and Jbdev studio 5

Hi All,

I had installed Jboss EAP 6.0.0 in Linux Machine and i want to deploy aplication into it.

As i came to know that Jboss EAP is for Administrator  and JbDev studio is for developers.(please correct me if i am wrong)

Could , I deploy application in Jboss EAP(Management console) and run it, like administrator with out using Jbdevstudio?

Also, please enlight the difference between both of them.

Request ,anyone to give some input on this issue as i am new to Jboss.

JBoss EAP is the server on which you deploy your application.

Jbdevstudio is an advanced code editor on which you develop your application. It can connect to JBoss EAP to deploy and debug your application on it.

Can I deploy application in Jboss EAP taking readily available war file? (without going for Jbdevstudio)

Please clarify my doubt.
