Web Reports for JBPM 5.4 or 6

Hello,

I want to build a Web Report Tool where you can see all running processes, completed processes by a specific user, on which task a specific process ID is, time taken for a process to be completed and a lot others......

These generic queries will be available from the Web, so a User can build his query visually and run it. A chart could be displayed if any, i.e. all processes for the current day are: 50 completed and 13 in progress.

My question is: what do I need to built such thing (especially For the Charts)? Which framework or tool could ease the development? Also, I would like to hear from someone who did something similar.

have you taken a look at the new BAM component of jBPM 6? It provides a lot of features and most likely covers what you described. Here you can find code and when using jbpm installer you get that installed as dashboard application that is presenting real time information about processes and tasks.

Actually, no I didn't check it yet because I thought it could be same as jbpm5.4 console which have a humble reporting tool.

I will check it now, I hope we can customize it and add some features to it.
