JMS Remote Client in a Cluster, Is There a Host Selector Available?

I have two JBoss instances clustered for higher message throughput (scalable).  When I start a remote JMS client with a provider URL of instance #1, sometimes the client connects to instance #1 and sometimes it connects to instance #2.

Is there some kind of node selector class that can be used to specify which instance the client should connect to?

See the documentation on client-side load-balancing.  Note, if you want to disable client-side load-balancing you can configure the connection factory with just a single connector.
