How to update files without redeploy?

Hi

I have an .war package deployed on jboss eap 6.1 and sometimes i need to update a .xml file that is located inside the .war. But when I do this the changes doesn't became visible on the application and I need to redeploy it. Is there any way to change the file without redeploy the whole application?

It depends, some files can be changed without redeploy if you use exploded deployments in standalone mode.

But if you change configurations or classes you have to redeploy
