1. Re: JBoss 7.1.1.Final CLI updating management user
wdfink Nov 21, 2013 2:31 AM (in response to gebuh)It might be that this feature was added later in AS7.1.
You need to build AS7.1.2 or 7.1.3 from source. Also you might use EAP6.1.0.Alpha which is the free community like version of AS7.2.

gebuh Nov 21, 2013 7:49 PM (in response to wdfink)Thank you for the information, but this is a bit confusing. I didn't even know that 7.1.2 existed, it's not available on the download page. That being the case why would the documentation reflect a build that is for the most part hidden? It appears that 7.1.2 is actually EAP 6.0.0 which has its own documentation.
I found an interesting wordPress article here about it.
ETA I take that back, 7.1.2 has been ported to wildfly not EAP.

wdfink Nov 22, 2013 8:27 AM (in response to gebuh)1 of 1 people found this helpfulYou can find several discussions about that in the EAP or AS7 spaces, I'll not open a new one
AS7 will continue as WildFly in the community. Nevertheless you will find tags in the github repository with 7.1.2 and 7.1.3.Final which can be used to build the server.
The EAP6.1.Alpha bits are free to use (same as community) other EAP versions need to have a subscription if you will use it in a productional environment.
So you can build the AS7.1.3 or use the EAP6.1.Alpha which is a successor of AS7.1 and available on the download page.
All EAP6 releases are based on the AS7 sourcen and not on WildFly.
